First images of Call of Duty 2024 reportedly leaked

The first images of Treyarch’s next Call of Duty game, slated for release in 2024, have leaked online after data miners found content in Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile’s closed alpha files.

RealiityUK, a Call of Duty data miner, gained access to the Warzone Mobile Project Aurora closed alpha and scoured the game files for a variety of unannounced Call of Duty content.

He indeed found footage of Treyarch’s Call of Duty 2024 game.

First images of CoD 2024 multiplayer maps

The leaker posted images of two multiplayer maps that are part of Treyarch’s upcoming Call of Duty game. The images appear to be concept art of the cards, as the game is still in early development.

The first image shared by the leak shows the map “Stealth”, which is a code name. It appears to take place outside a US military base at an unknown location.

The second image posted is of a card titled “Looting”. A few aspects of this map are visible in the leaked image.

It’s unclear why Warzone Mobile’s closed alpha contains files for unreleased content, including for a game that won’t be released for two years.

Details about Call of Duty 2024

Activision

Cold War was Treyarch’s latest entry into Call of Duty.

While Activision has yet to officially confirm it, Bloomberg reported earlier this year that Treyarch’s next Call of Duty game will be released in 2024, making 2023 a “hollow” year.

If the game is delayed to 2024, Treyarch will have four years of development, with its last premium title being Black Ops Cold War in 2020. Treyarch supported Vanguard’s development in Zombies and Ranked mode. Additionally the studio contributed to the development of Modern Warfare 2, although the extent of their work on this title is unclear.

Details on what Call of Duty 2024 is are still scarce, with some rumors claiming it will take place in a “near future”.
