first renderings and imminent launch

Nothing is about to unveil a second generation of ear headphones. Similar in appearance, however, we expect new hardware.

Nothing, a young London brand worn by former OnePlus Carl Pei, launched last year with headphones with an original design, the ears (1). While Nothing tease more and more an open alternative version, the ear (Stick) scheduled to be presented on October 26, 2022, here is that 91Mobiles published early renderings of their successor, the Nothing ears (2), with the help of the leaker Kuba Wojciechowski.

According to information from the generally reliable Indian site, the launch shouldn’t take too long, even if they are unable to provide a precise date. The site talks about cheap headphones, so they shouldn’t be too affected by the price hike. At least not higher than the recent ear price increase (1).

An unchanged design

From the outside, there is not much to tell. The original design from last year seems to have been almost entirely saved. We replace the Nothing logo with the words “ear (2)”, transparency is always in order, in short, why change a winning team? Nothing still sold more than 600,000 models last year.

Of course, the expected changes should therefore focus on the functionality of the headphones, their functionality or even in their components. At this point, unfortunately, we have no further details on this point.

As a reminder, the ears (1) had obtained a nice 9/10 when they were released, thanks in particular to a clean copy and impeccable price positioning. In the age of inflation, will Nothing manage to retain these two elements? We should soon be fixed.
