King Charles and Camilla travel on from Berlin to Hamburg. The Queen Consort shone at their performances in the German capital.

They leave Berlin behind and continue to Hamburg by ICE: King Charles III. (74) and his wife, Queen Consort Camilla (75), will visit the “Kindertransport – The Last Farewell” memorial and the St. Nikolai memorial at the end of their three-day trip to Germany. The royal couple will also sign the city’s golden book.

As in Berlin, the king’s wife Camilla will also inspire royal fans with an independent appointment. In the afternoon she is supposed to visit an elementary school with Elke Büdenbender (61), the wife of Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier (67). During the couple’s visit to Germany, the king’s wife is in no way inferior to her husband when it comes to appointments…

Camilla is reminiscent of the Queen

Royal fans in Berlin were already happy about the closeness of Charles and Camilla on Wednesday. The royal couple were cheered at the Brandenburg Gate immediately after their arrival. At a state banquet in the evening at Bellevue Palace, Camilla shone in a black evening gown with sparkling silver embroidery by Bruce Oldfield. She also wore the Greville Tiara, also known as the Boucheron Honeycomb Tiara, which was a gift from the late Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022). Camilla’s diamond necklace was also from the Queen. The royal couple was able to exchange ideas at the event with former Chancellor Angela Merkel (68), “Let’s Dance” juror Motsi Mabuse (41) or Tote-Hosen singer Campino (60).

On Thursday, Camilla listened on site as her husband gave his celebrated speech in front of the German Bundestag. Camilla later visited the Komische Oper Berlin alone with Steinmeier’s wife Elke Büdenbender. There she is said to have sung together with the children present. Also on the agenda for Camilla and Büdenbender was a visit to a center for people with a refugee background, where, according to media reports, there was tea for the ladies in the in-house café.

In Hamburg, the king’s wife will probably also cause enthusiasm. Among other things, at the Rathausmarkt, Camilla and Charles should again be very close to the people.
