First Windows 11 service pack arrives: How to get it before everyone else

Windows 11 hasn’t hit the ground running as one might expect given the high level of effort that Microsoft is putting into it. But now the first big update is coming up and you can imagine it like a service pack. Microsoft is making improvements in many places with the new version Windows 11 22H2. So Windows 11 is getting better and that could convince more users to switch for free.

It is not officially confirmed yet, but the final distribution is rumored to be scheduled for September 20th. However, the new version has been available as a release candidate for some time. Build 22621 was chosen for this. It is currently being distributed via the Windows Insider program in the Release Preview channel.

At the current stage, all new features are already included, so the new Windows 11 is “Feature Complete”. We show what new features Windows 11 brings with the first service pack and how you can get there in advance.
