fun, news, tips… what else?

We now know who will succeed Jean Castex as Prime Minister. Emmanuel Macron has revealed the name of the political personality who will now occupy Matignon, it is Elisabeth Borne.

Emmanuel Macron was re-elected for 5 more years at the Elysée Palace on April 24, 2022, against Marine le Pen. Shortly after the announcement of the results, Emmanuel Macron went to the foot of the Eiffel Tower, to the Champs de Mars, with his wife Brigitte Macron. Jean Castex replaced at Matignon

There was no doubt that Jean Castex would leave his post as soon as he had the opportunity. The Prime Minister had in fact expressed his wish to submit his resignation as soon as possible. Emmanuel Macron had, however, asked him to take over the interim for a little longer. And it was on Wednesday May 11 that the 41 members of his government met for their very last Council of Ministers. Jean Castex presented his resignation this Monday, May 16 and planned to take in the wake of his departure from Matignon 3 weeks of vacation. A well-deserved rest after nearly two years in this position: 2 busy years, due in particular to the health crisis, the economic crisis or the social crisis which have shaken France.
