In Hades 2, you can use the different Harvesting Tools to collect useful resources for Alchemy, Incantations, and many other things. With the Fishing Rod
In Hades IIand as in its predecessor, it is possible to to fish. To do this, you must first unlock the Fishing rodone of the Harvesting tools available in game. After casting the incantation “Arts of the Night” using 1 Molyyou will be able to find the different tools and the conditions to unlock them at the level of the Silver Basin in training camp.
To obtain the Fishing rodyou will need 1 Bronze and of 2 Sons of Destiny. You can collect Bronze to the Surface Next our guide to accessing the Surfaceand the one for collect Bronze. As to Son of Destinyyou can buy it at Miserable Merchantobtain a copy by choosing the Fuliginous Dress proposed by Arachneor order some from Charon once you unlock its deliveries.
Once the Fishing rod in your possession, you can use it to fish in bodies of water with glowing circles. To do this, approach the circles in question and press the indicated button. The mini-game will begin, and you will have to wait for the float to go underwater before clicking or tapping R1 to hook the fish.
Then circles will appear on the screen. They correspond to the number of tries you have before the fish leaves. To succeed, you must click or press R1 every time the fish enters the colorful circle. It will disappear after a few moments, so you will have to succeed in all your attempts to catch the fish. Currently, the number of circles does not necessarily correspond to the rarity of the fish, but it is possible that this will change over time.
With a Familiar

When Where are you now accompanies you, you will sometimes encounter glowing circles in bodies of water in different Zones, regardless of the tool equipped. What are fish for in Hades 2?
At this point in early access, Pisces have no real function. For now, you can sell them at Miserable Merchant to obtain Boneswhich will subsequently allow you to obtain useful resources, such as Nectar to make offerings or Moon dust to improve your Arcana.
However, based on how fishing worked in the previous game, a future update may add features to this activity. In fact, it was possible to exchange fish for resources in Hadeslike the Darknessof Nectarof Ambrosia, and many other items depending on their rarity.
