After Google recently made some Fitbit features available for Google Fit and the Google Pixel Watch, Fitbit users can also look forward to it. Because now Google Maps can also be used for some models of the popular fitness tracker manufacturer.
As 9to5Google reports, the compatible devices are the Fitbit Sense 2 and the Versa 4. They have been able to download and install the corresponding app since December. However, the full functionality of Google Maps is only now available.
It is not yet known whether other functions of Google’s smartwatch will find their way into Fitbit’s fitness trackers. With the new Maps and Google Wallet functions – also available since December – the sports watches are becoming even more suitable for everyday use and are increasingly becoming a smartwatch alternative.
