Five values ​​​​of the Cac 40 on the grill this Thursday on the Stock Exchange

The day after the publication of the Fed’s minutes, the economic agenda will still be very American. Three indicators are expected: the new jobless claims for the week ended February 12 (consensus: 220,000), the philadelphia fed activity index for february (consensus: 20, compared to 23.2 in January) and the housing starts and building permits issued in January (consensus: 1.7 million and 1.75 million units at an annualized rate). The prospect of a rate hike could weigh on demand, but for the time being the signals remain green in residential construction.

Closer to us, the European Central Bank will publish its economic bulletin at 10 o’clock. Investors will also be interested in January new vehicle registrations in the euro zone. Finally, note that the finance ministers and central bank governors of G20 members will meet on February 17 and 18 in Jakarta, Indonesia, to discuss the major topics of the moment, i.e. inflation, the normalization of monetary policies, digital transformation and the health crisis.

Among the stocks, five components of the Cac 40 will reveal their 2021 financial results, either before or after the stock market: Airbus, Kering, Orange, Schneider-Electric and Teleperformance.

Outside of the flagship index, investors will be sure to analyze the accounts ofATir France-KLM, CNP Assurances, Eutelsat Communications, Lagardere or Ubisoft. Internationally, Commerzbank, Nestle and walmart will be on the move.
