Flashback 2: the sequel to the cult French game postponed

French video game classic by Paul Cuisset, Flashback was one of the benchmarks for platform and side-view action games in the 90s. The title never really disappeared from the radar, between ports, remasters and remakes, but Microids decided to go even further by announcing a sequel last year.

We haven’t seen much of her yet, her gameplay having only been shown indirectly as part of a trailer, but the publisher still planned to launch it during winter 2022 on PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, before a port on Switch sometime next year. Finally, the development will require more time, and Flashback 2 is postponed to 2023 for everyone.
