flatexDEGIRO: 4.3% increase in turnover in the 3rd quarter


(CercleFinance.com) – flatexDEGIRO publishes a turnover of 91.9 ME for the 3rd quarter, up 4.3% compared to the same period a year earlier.

EBITDA stood at 37.6 ME, which represents an increase of 25.1%, still compared to the 3rd quarter of 2021.
The broker indicates that at the same time, turnover per transaction increased by 6.5%, from 4.83 to 5.15 euros.

Over the full year, the management of flatexDEGIRO is aiming for a turnover of at least 400 ME with a stable EBITDA margin compared to the previous year.

Finally, the company claims to have acquired more than 376,000 new customer accounts in the first nine months, increasing its customer base to 2.4 million with a retention rate of 98.4%.

The managing director of flatexDEGIRO, Frank Niehage, recalls that the market environment remains nevertheless difficult, between inflation, rising interest rates, fears of recession or even geopolitical risks, elements ‘weighing heavily’ on the sentiment of the markets of the capital.

“However, our growth and our financial performance demonstrate the solidity of our economic model and the quality of our clientele”, indicates the manager who also says he is “very confident” about the company’s ability to increase its turnover. business per transaction in the fourth quarter of 2022, before accelerating again next year.
