Flavie Flament “The red thread of Stars at home remains emotion”

This Friday February 18 on TF1, Flavie Flament, 47, is relaunching Stars at home, a program where artists meet one of their admirers. Interview with a now serene woman.

Why did you agree to revive the time of two evenings Stars at home now ?

FLAVIE FLAMENT: Stars at home turns 20, the planets have aligned. (She smiles.) This show was created for me by Jean-Luc Delarue. It’s kind of my baby. I’m sure he’s very proud from up there.

What will this new version of the show look like?

At two evenings during which we will walk between the past and the present. I take viewers by the hand. From the Olympia, I’m going to open doors, some leading to the past, others to the present. We will review surprises that marked the viewers: Patrick Fiori, Hélène Segara, Lorie Pester Where Marc Lavoine especially. We will find the artist and the anonymous person today. Beyond the cameras, incredible friendships have been made. stars at home, it’s more than a TV show.

And among the new generation, who will surprise their fans?

Julien Doré, Angèle, Amel Bent, Clara Luciani, Soprano and gims. It was very strong. The red thread of Stars at home the emotion remains.

Looking back at these old images of you, did you find today’s Flavie very different?

She is much freer and more fulfilled than Flavie at the time. She manages her career as she sees fit. But I have a lot of tenderness for the young girl who started twenty years ago.

Your book, The Solace (where she revealed that she had been abused as a child by photographer David Hamilton, editor’s note) freed you. You “hid your game well”. You were solar on the air…

I hid my tragedy well, yes… I was myself in a negation of everything, and the antenna brought me at the time a form of warmth and affection that I did not have elsewhere. I am less exposed because I love myself more. Leaving the light was a necessity. I had to find myself. Nothing much belonged to me at that time. I took off.

Women have recently lodged a complaint against PPDA for rape or sexual assault, another was filed against Jean Jacques Bourdin. A comment on that?

I don’t have the vocation to express myself on all these subjects, especially since I don’t know the ins and outs. I just know that today the media make more appropriate decisions than in another era. And me, on the other hand, I have never been confronted with the slightest abuse in the world of TV.

You were in controlautism debate on January 25 on M6. Will we see you again in this type of exercise or in other TV shows?

It’s been three months that I haven’t taken my head out of the water, because stars at home, in addition to the radio – D-Day on RTL from Monday to Thursday at 8 p.m., editor’s note -, is a big device to put in place. I’m not going to redo all the anniversaries of my shows. Coming out of the cake every time to say hello is not my thing. (She laughs.) I’m going to get down to writing my next novel instead.

Do you still dream of some kind of Big family on TV ?

Always I dream of having a daily live show. I want to have a sincere and daily encounter with viewers. What I have on the radio. It would really crack me up.
