Fleury Michon: slight losses in the 1st half

(CercleFinance.com) – Fleury Michon posted net income of -2.5 million euros for the first half of 2022, against +3.6 million a year earlier, with a current operating margin down from +2% to -1 .1%, strongly impacted by the general rise in production costs.

The agri-food group recorded an increase in turnover of 9.6% to 374.5 million euros, driven in particular by the international poles (+ 106.4%) and sales with services (+ 74.9% ) while the GMS France division grew by only 2.9%.

Price increases have been negotiated from July 1, 2022 but will only partially cover the cost increase to date. Given the ongoing volatility of the markets, no quantified outlook for the 2022 landing is communicated.
