Florence Pugh and Zach Braff have been dating since August 2018. The actress has now publicly announced the split.
Zach Braff (47) and Florence Pugh (26) were a couple for three years. Now the ‘Scrubs’ star and the ‘Little Women’ actress are going their separate ways. Interviewed by Harper’s Bazaar Pugh has revealed the two secretly split in early 2022.
In the conversation, the 26-year-old also addresses the criticism that has been raised on social media due to the large age difference between the two. “We tried to make this breakup without the world knowing about it because it was a relationship that everyone has an opinion on,” she said.
Florence Pugh gets emotional
Pugh still seems to be emotionally involved with the topic, because she “automatically gets a lump in her throat” when she talks about it. She continued, “We just felt that it would benefit us if millions of people didn’t tell us how happy they are that we’re no longer together.”
But there doesn’t seem to be any bad blood. Before the breakup, both of them shot the film “A Good Person” together, which is scheduled for release in 2023. The screenplay was penned by the “Scrubs” star. “The movie that we actually did together was probably one of my favorite experiences,” Pugh enthuses.
