A few hours before its broadcast, our colleagues from Télé-Loisirs had revealed that a personality dear to the hearts of the French was about to make a comeback: Florent Pagny. “The singer, with the complicity of some people from the production of The Voice, has reserved a huge surprise for the talents and the coaches”. A surprise arrival, which Nikos Aliagas was not even aware of.
So when the talents were singing, Florent Pagny arrived on stage, arousing surprise and emotion in the public, among viewers, talents and especially the jury. Indeed, seeing the artist sick with lung cancer, landing on the set of The Voice, Vianney couldn’t hold back her tears. The singer was able to show that despite the illness, his voice was intact.

Nikos Aliagas welcomed this arrival. “It’s a surprise! No one knew about it. It’s Florent’s gift for this semi-final. The boss is in place”, he said. Zazie, very happy to see him, even offered him her chair. A proposal declined by the singer. “I see that you are all in good shape, well me too!”, said the singer. “It’s nice to arrive and it sounds right away. See you later, see you during the pubs!”, he says, leaving the set. A few days earlier, Florent Pagny had given his news about his state of health. “I understood that it was not something that could be treated with 15 days of antibiotics, I was even able to experience the moment when it came back (…) but you are starting to know a little about your subject, and to manage situations. I’m lucky, the protocol works great every time, now I understand: I stop not taking it”
