Despite his lung cancer, Florent Pagny has launched a series of concerts to the delight of his fans. However, the singer had a bad fall before one of them, which led him to the emergency room.
Hard blow for Florent Pagny. A year after announcing that he had inoperable lung cancer, the coach of The Voice revealed to his fans, after a short remission, the return of the disease. Summoned to follow a strict treatment protocol again, he did not, however, give up making his return to the stage, already postponed because of cancer. “As long as I’m not dead, it’s the right way!” he thus affirmed to TV 7 daysspecifying that he nevertheless wishes to follow his treatment to the letter. “I still go to a clinic every three weeks, to put on juice and check regularly to make sure it doesn’t come back… since it’s already come back once”he clarified.
Confident about his state of health, Florent Pagny will even be back in stores on September 1 with a new duet album called 2a, and in the spotlight of a special evening on TF1. Viewers will thus find him on stage for a concert for the benefit of the ELA association in the company of his friends and relatives, before discovering an unpublished documentary directed by Michel Jankielewicz, to whom we already owe Florent Pagny, a free man. For this project, the director followed the singer during his summer tour which, unfortunately, was not always rosy, as he confided in an interview with TV Star.

Confiding behind the scenes of this shoot, Michel Jankielewicz thus revealed that Florent Pagny had been victim of a bad fall before a concerton June 30. “The day before Nîmes, he fell and broke two or three ribs. He ended up in the emergency room in Nanterre with stitches in the chin”, he explained. Fortunately for the former coach of The Voice, his injuries did not prevent him from performing his concert. And this, thanks in particular to “a breathing and singing technique of his own which allowed him to ensure the shows”. “He’s tough on pain too”thus concluded the director, who confirms the “warrior mode” adopted by Florent Pagny since the beginning of his fight against his cancer.
