Florent Pagny sick: a famous singer speaks about his wish to publicly reveal his cancer

Invited this Saturday, February 5, in the program We redo the TV on RTL, Alain Chamfort expressed his support for Florent Pagny and returned to his wish to reveal his illness publicly.

the Last January 25, Florent Pagny revealed on social networks have inoperable lung cancer, through a sincere and touching video. Since then, the singer has received a lot of messages of support, from his fans but also from certain celebrities he is close to.

This Saturday February 5, his friend and musician Alain Chamfort was a guest on the show We redo the TV on RTL and returned to the singer’s illness. With friendship and respect, he gave his opinion on the fact that Florent Pagny made his fight public.

“Faced with the disease, everyone reacts as they can, there are no rules”

Seriously ill in 2016, Alain Chamfort explained that he did things differently than Florent Pagny at that time, and revealed why he did not want to make his illness public: “I don’t like exposing my problems to others… Even vis-à-vis my loved ones, I didn’t want to drag them into this story, I was trying to cope” he said, before adding: “We are alone in these moments so we have to find the answer in ourselves without having to make them bear this weight. Me, I tried to talk about me as little as possible.

The musician, however, understood the wish of the interpreter to know likesa: Everyone is free from that. If it does him good, if he feels more surrounded… I don’t know, I think that in the face of illness, everyone reacts as they can, there are no rules” he said without judgment.

Alain Chamfort then wanted to support his friend in order to give him strength to face this ordeal: I really wish him the energy he needs in this case and then I think he has a good character, a good will and that he will know how to defend himself. Either way, I really wish him all the best.”.
