In an interview with RTL on the occasion of the release of his new single “Encore une fois”, Patrick Bruel spoke about his great friend Florent Pagny, who is suffering from lung cancer, and said to himself ” can’t wait to get him back to full fitness.”
During an interview granted to RTL – which will be broadcast in its entirety tomorrow at 8:45 a.m. but an extract of which has already been revealed on the station’s Twitter account – patrick bruel reacted to the state of health of his great friend Florent Pagny who is suffering from lung cancer. The one who recently lit up the Ramatuelle festival was rather reassuring on this subject, he who had recently rubbed shoulders with the coach of The Voice on the set of the clip Terra Corsaalongside Patrick Fiori and Jean-Charles Papi.
“It had been great to find him and the latest news I think he is doing much better (…) Things are going their way but rather in the right direction and we are all very happy and very impatient to find him in great shape“, said the 63-year-old singer, who came to present his new single Once again. As a reminder, Florent Pagny revealed his illness last January via a video posted on Instagram before posting another, this time being very physically impaired.

Patrick Bruel notably reacted to his friend’s decision to expose his health problem without any filter to his fans. “I think the way he did it looks like him. It was in perfect coherence with the boy we know and love. I found that very strong and that’s exactly what had to be done I think” he said, before adding a few words on the reaction of Internet users to this sad news. “I think he was extremely touched by the dose of love he received and I don’t think he suspected it at that point”.
Since then, things have been better for the interpreter of My freedom of thought. “Everything is fine !! I’m picking up colors in the Aegean Sea, magnificent“, he wrote on August 14 to his subscribers on Instagram when he had already been seen in better shape a few days earlier alongside chef Pascal Jounault at the Lipp brasserie, in the Saint-Germain des Près district of Paris.
