Great news for fans of the German hit: Florian Silbereisen (42) is returning after a three-year break with “The Big Festival of the Best” and will be crowning the “Schlagerchampions” again in January 2024. The MDR has that in a press release announced. Accordingly, the show will take place on January 13, 2024 at 8:15 p.m. in the Berlin Velodrome.

Musical entertainment at “Schlagerchampions”

The popular music show, which was launched in 2014, recently had to take a long break. The corona pandemic was, among other things, to blame. In 2021, “The Big Festival of the Best” took place under strict Corona requirements in the Congress Center in Suhl and not, as usual, in the Berlin Velodrome. In 2024, fans can look forward to plenty of musical entertainment and various “Schlagerchampions” awards.

Because at “The Big Festival of the Best” Silbereisen awards trophies in a wide variety of categories. Helene Fischer (39, ten prizes) and Andrea Berg (57, eight prizes) have won the most prizes so far. In the last edition in 2021, Kerstin Ott (41), Howard Carpendale (77) and Ramon Roselly (29) were honored, among others. Tickets for the hit show are already available from the provider Eventim.

Florian Silbereisen is currently moderating one event after the other. After the Golden Hen was awarded on October 13th in Leipzig, the big “Schlagerbooom” followed again on October 21st in Dortmund’s Westfalenhalle.

Among other things, Andrea Berg presented her new album there, which was released on October 20th. Howard Carpendale performed his new work “Let’s do it again”. But one performance outshined all others that evening: The singer Michelle (51) announced shortly beforehand that she would say goodbye to her fans with a final album next year and end her career.
