Florian Silbereisen and Helene Fischer went their separate ways in 2018. Now they have a “wonderful friendship”, as the singer reveals.
Florian Silbereisen (39) and Helene Fischer (36) were the dream couple in the German hit scene for many years. The separation in 2018 was a shock moment for many fans. In an interview with the magazine “Bunte Quarterly”, Silbereisen reveals that he and the pop singer “still have regular contact”. “That will never change,” he explains. “Our time together will always connect us and I am very grateful for this wonderful friendship.”
Florian Silbereisen currently has a busy schedule: he can be seen on television as the ZDF “Traumschiff” captain Max Parger and soon as a juror on the RTL show “Deutschland sucht den Superstar”. He also moderates hit programs for ARD. The 39-year-old clarifies that his labor-intensive career has nothing to do with his life as a single. “I’ve been doing my job for more than 20 years. Most of the time I was in a committed relationship. In this respect, career has nothing to do with relationship status from my experience.”
Florian Silbereisen is “an absolute country man”
The 39-year-old has stayed on the ground despite his fame. “I am an absolute country man and prefer to be at home,” he says. “It was perhaps a dream that I was allowed to be on the big stage at some point, but not my plan.” At the age of 17, for example, he didn’t buy a car with his first savings, but built a house. “When it was finished years later, I first let the house to pay off the debt.”
Florian Silbereisen celebrates his 40th birthday on August 4th. At this age he has “no problem”. Rather, it is “crazy how time flies”. Yesterday he “felt like 20”. On his special day, the pop star already presented himself with a coffee machine: “I couldn’t wait any longer.”
