Florian Silbereisen: Dieter Bohlen brings him into the "DSDS" jury

When the new episode of the casting show "Deutschland sucht den Superstar" flickers on TV screens on Saturday, two titans of the German music business will combine their star power for the first time: Schlager king Florian Silbereisen (38) will sit next to Dieter Bohlen ( 66) in the jury. RTL has confirmed this.

The presenter and "dream ship" captain takes over for Xavier Naidoo (48), who was fired last week because of a scandal video as a judge. "Dieter asked if I could step in at short notice and of course I said yes. In times like these, you just have to stick together and help out where you are needed," quotes the "Bild" newspaper Silbereisen.

He has obviously been a fan of Bohlen for a long time: "I never thought that I could work with him. This is something very special for me! I already have stage fright," explains the moderator, singer and actor. The collaboration promises to be exciting, not least because there are a lot of hits on the show this year.
