Florian Silbereisen: Dream ship discontinued due to Corona

Sad news for all dream ship fans. Filming for the new episodes has ended. Here, too, the corona virus thwarted the dream ship team, including pop star Florian Silbereisen. The good? The filming is at least only paused – not completely canceled.

Even though the risk of infection on board the 'dream ship' is currently low, it was decided based on the current situation to adjust the shooting schedule. Filming will pause after the episode 'The Dream Ship: Cape Town'.

So it says in a statement by the ZDF. The protective measures are important to reduce the spread of the virus. Because: On Sunday (March 15th) it was confirmed that an employee of the broadcaster had tested positive for the new virus. That is why the work is being moved home as best it can. "Wherever that is possible and justifiable, work in the home office should be implemented. The regulation applies immediately and initially until the end of the Easter holidays," the broadcaster continues.

And the Easter successes?

Easter? Wait a minute! It rings with us. Shouldn't the long-awaited episode "The Dream Ship: Morocco" also be broadcast. But don't panic. Since the scenes were shot before, the episode will be broadcast on Easter as promised. Phew!

As soon as the situation has relaxed, shooting for the Seychelles edition can be started again. We are looking forward to it!
