On Saturday afternoon, a serious leisure accident happened on the Gemeindealpe near Mitterbach am Erlaufsee (Lilienfeld/Lower Austria) – a 15-year-old girl suffered serious injuries. She had to be taken to the hospital by rescue helicopter.
Shortly after 2 p.m., the mountain rescue service in Mitterbach am Erlaufsee and the Red Cross in Mariazellerland were alerted to a leisure accident in which a 15-year-old girl from Vienna suffered a serious shoulder injury. After the emergency medical first aid, a rescue helicopter was requested for rapid transport. The emergency doctor helicopter Christophorus 15 immediately flew the injured girl to the University Hospital St. Pölten.
