(CercleFinance.com) – Fnac Darty announces the evolution of its strategic ticketing partnership initiated in 2019 with CTS Eventim, European leader in the sector, the latter having notified it of its desire to exercise the existing purchase option in order to become the majority shareholder of France Billet.
After four years of activity, the introduction of new technologies and obtaining the status of supporter of the operation of ticketing services for Paris 2024, Fnac Darty would thus sell 17% of the capital and would retain 35% of France Billet.
The transaction, subject to the required authorizations and consultation with employee representatives, should take place in a few months. Fnac Darty would continue to support the ticketing business in France via its points of sale and the Fnac Spectacles brand.
