Fnac Darty: unfavorable court decision in the United Kingdom – 11/18/2022 at 11:23

(CercleFinance.com) – Fnac Darty indicates that the High Court of London has ordered its subsidiary Darty Holdings SAS to reimburse an amount of approximately 89.6 million pounds sterling, as part of the sale of the company Comet Group Limited by the Kesa group in 2012.

Strongly contesting, on the merits, the decision rendered by the High Court, the French distribution group plans to use all possible remedies to contest this decision, including the request to appeal.

Fnac Darty declares that it has a sufficient level of liquidity to honor this payment, which should be made by the end of this year and the amount of which will impact the result of discontinued operations, but neither the current result nor the free cash flow of the band.
