FNCS Qualifiers: 16 duos qualified directly for the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 Finals


This year, the FNCS qualifiers are only made up of two Fortnite qualifying sessions, which took place as a duo, format chosen by the competition this year. The first of these two sessions started on Thursday February 17. From 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., it’s first of all an open qualifier which took placein which thethe 400 best duos advance to Round 2. This round 2 then took place the next day, Friday February 18, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., where the 400 duos faced each other in 7 matches. The 50 best duos of this round 2 then advanced in round 3, also on February 18, from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. At the end of this round 3, made up of 6 matches, it is the 8 best duos who made it straight to the Fortnite FNCS Finals.

There are some familiar names in the standings, like Team MCES, carried by BadSniper and DKSfinishing 4th during this phase 1 with 164 points, still far ahead of the leaders, BL Raifla and GAMMA Merijn, with their 203 points.

The qualifying session 2 then took place on Saturday 19 Februaryrespecting thee same format as the first qualifierswith a qualifying open from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.then on Sunday, round 2 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and finally round 3 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., which also sees the top 8 duos advance directly to the final. At the end of this second qualifier, we also find well-known names, like benjyfishy and MrSavage, winning 2nd place, Anas and PinqUKfinishing first with 167 points, but also two Frenchmen, ARTSKILL and TCypSs (Elyandra) in 4th place. Andilex and Xsweeze failed in 14th place.

However, even if the other teams did not qualify directly for the final, the semi-final is yet to come. All the duos received during these qualifiers series points according to their ranking, which will allow them to qualify for this semi-final. Find all the competition dates here.
