(Boursier.com) — Focus Entertainment rose by 1.3% to 47.55 euros this Friday, while the group’s turnover for the 3rd quarter of 2022/23 amounted to 76.1 million euros, up sharply compared to the last year, with a successful Christmas season… Sales were driven by the good performance of the two major games launched at the end of the year: A Plague Tale: Requiem (October 18) and Evil West (November 22), but also by the other titles in the portfolio, including sales were strong and supported by the delivery of additional content.

78% of group sales were made through digital partners, and international sales accounted for 93% of total group revenue in the third quarter.

Over the first 9 months of the 2022/23 financial year, Focus Entertainment posted revenue of 141.6 million euros, up 16% compared to the first nine months of the previous financial year. Thus, at the end of the first nine months of the financial year, in a very intense competitive environment, revenues came out slightly above the Group’s expectations.

Appointment to follow

Finally, the last quarter should be marked by the long-awaited launch of Atomic Heart from the Mundfish studio, which will be unveiled on February 21 and will close a financial year, at this stage, well oriented for the Focus Group.

Focus Entertainment is delighted with this performance, the result of the continuous work of its teams, validating the relevance of its strategic positioning, around quality franchises, developed within measured budgets and able to generate revenue over the long term.

“While we had cautiously lowered our expectations at the beginning of December, we are going back the opposite way with a projection of annual turnover raised from 172 ME to 190 ME” comments Portzamparc who maintains his recommendation ‘Strengthen’ with a target raised from 54.5 to 55 .5 euros.
