After a successful collaboration on the game vampire, Focus Entertainment and DON’T NOD have decided to continue their joint work in a brand new project. On the occasion of the Game Awards 2022, they therefore unveil the title Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden which should be launched by the end of 2023.
The title takes us to New Eden, in 1695. We follow Antea Duarte and Red mac Raith, both lovers and ghost hunters. But following a mission that will turn into a disaster, Antea is mortally wounded and will become one of those ghosts she loathes. On the verge of despair, the couple will then go to the haunted lands of North America to try to find a way to free Antea from her spirit condition.
In an esoteric world populated by many supernatural creatures, you will have to make impossible choices, which will impact the existence of all the inhabitants of New Eden. Alive as dead. The game offers the possibility of playing both Antea and Red, which means that you will have to deal with both the weapons of the hunter and the spiritual powers of your partner. But all these skills will not be too much to fight the supernatural forces that torment New Eden and its inhabitants.
