The smartphone was not left out, even if we feel that the manufacturers did not want to reveal everything from the first week of January. Here’s a quick summary of what to eat.
Samsung attacks with an S21 FE and folding
What would a Tech show be without its share of demonstrations? This year Samsung had brought back a few concepts to prove that its ideas for foldable smartphones did not stop at the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. The Korean giant thus presented a format called Flex Slidable, with a rollable and stretchable screen. , as well as a Flex S available in the hand for the first time at the show.

OnePlus distills the information on the OnePlus 10 Pro
Rather than launching all at once, OnePlus has decided this year to distill information on its new premium model, the OnePlus 10 Pro. We first discovered the visuals, then its charging power before learning more about its photo capabilities, which are reminiscent of a certain Realme GT 2 Pro.
Indeed, the OnePlus 10 Pro also has an ultra wide angle of 150 degrees for a wider field of vision than what is usually done in this shooting mode. The smartphone also offers a Fisheye mode.
Vivo launches the color ball
The color of smartphones can be a subject of quite intense fascination with some fans. Wait a bit for the phones to show one color in the shade and another color in the sun, and you will get an idea of Vivo’s rather successful marketing stunt with its new V23 and V23 Pro.

Google strengthens Matter and Chromecast
Google wants to strengthen the compatibility of its devices. The Mountain View firm thus reaffirmed its desire to push the Matter standard, which promotes compatibility between connected objects and ecosystems already set up with other manufacturers.
The Chromecast should also be made compatible with more devices in the coming weeks. Some brands that were not yet benefiting from it will be able to connect to Google’s small device. Deployment will begin with Bose speakers and soundbars.
Nokia is hungry
Nokia and HMD, its partner for several years now, are storming the entry-level segment. They announced 5 phones planned for 2022 with an entry price of 79 euros for a feature phone and 99 euros for a smartphone. The most expensive of the five has a 120 Hz screen and a 5G connection for 239 euros. Not bad for this price range.
