A money butterfly is particularly playful and can be presented in many different ways (you can find ideas for this in the last section). Folding banknotes: Instructions for a butterfly
For this easy money folding guide you will need:
- two banknotes
- a rubber band or craft thread
And this is how it works step by step:
- For the upper part of the butterfly, prepare the first bill. Fold horizontally in the middle and unfold again.
- On the short side of the bill, fold both corners towards the center line. Same on the opposite side.
- In the next step, put the note as it is into one Concertina fold bring: To do this, fold a narrow strip inwards. Turn over the banknote. Now fold the narrow strip onto this side. Repeat steps until the entire note is folded.
- Now get the second bill for the lower part of the butterfly. It is folded like the first one except for a small change: fold it horizontally in the middle again and open it again.
- Now at the Fold the short edge of the bill a narrow strip inwards. And as in step two, fold the corners back to the middle. Do the same for the opposite edge.
- Here again, fold into an accordion.
- Place both folded notes together and gather them in the middle with a rubber band or craft thread and pull them into place.
