Rupertikirtag 2022 is history. On Sunday evening, the Salzburg City Guard fired three final gun salutes. It was the official end of the traditional folk festival. The weather gods weren’t always kind to the people of Salzburg, but an estimated 150,000 visitors still came. “It was a fair like before the pandemic,” was the conclusion of the Old Town Association.
