Football – Debut victory for Ducks in league one should come

AFL promoted Salzburg Ducks meets Mödling at home on Sunday. However, the Ducks have to do without three important players.

First win on Mother’s Day! That’s the motto of the Ducks in today’s (14) home game with the Rangers Mödling in the Austrian Football League. But the Salzburgers have been warned about the Lower Austrians. After not being able to win a game last year, the Mödling team have already struck twice this season: at home against Telfs and away in Graz. “It will be a physical exchange of blows against a solid team. We lost the first few games, which we did well, we want to continue doing this, we have to fix the mistakes,” says coach Nick Johansen. With Noah Toure, Andreas Drechsler and David Kanyinda, the “ducks” are missing three pass receivers in their second home game. Hunter Schmidt, who was also questionable, will be available. Most recently, the running game was the trump card of the Mozart city-dwellers anyway. M Grill
