Premier League: De Bruyne leads Man City to victory

Kevin De Bruyne had a great day in Manchester City’s comfortable 4-2 win at Crystal Palace. The Belgian equalized Jean-Philippe Mateta’s early lead (3rd) in the opening quarter of an hour (13th) with a wonderful shot. After the break, Man City’s dominance began to bear fruit. Rico Lewis, Erling Haaland and De Bruyne again made it 4-1 for the guests by the 70th minute, who had almost 80% possession of the ball. Odsonne Edouard’s 2:4 in the final phase was nothing more than cosmetic results. Manuel Akanji came on as a substitute for the “Citizens” at halftime. ManCity will catch up with Liverpool in terms of points until at least Sunday evening.

Serie A: AS Roma wins city derby

AS Roma won the derby against city rivals Lazio and thus underpinned their Champions League aspirations. The fifth-placed team prevailed 1-0 (1-0). Lazio has nine points less and has to worry about participating in the European Cup. Gianluca Mancini (42nd) scored the only goal.
