Is this too much for Paris Saint-Germain? The Parisian club would have used the services of a digital company to harm or defend certain personalities or media on social networks, according to the latest revelations from Mediapart. We therefore learn through the investigation conducted by Mediapart that campaigns were launched against Adrien Rabiot, who at the time did not wish to renew his contract to leave free, or even Antero Henrique, accused of a failed recruiting campaign. Worse still, star Kylian Mbappé would also be affected by this case.

Media, such as Mediapart or even The Team are also the target of PSG, just like this ex-girlfriend of Neymar who accused the Brazilian of rape, or even this supporter slapped by Neymar in the final of the Coupe de France lost against Rennes in 2019, whose identity is revealed on Internet.

Repeated scandals

This new revelation adds to a list of scandals that have been making headlines for the past three months. At the beginning of September, it was a sand yachting affair that put PSG in the spotlight. Asked at a press conference by journalists, the coach of the Parisian club Christophe Galtier is ironic after a question on soft mobility concerning the movement of players. “We are trying to see if we could not get around in a sand yacht”, jokes the trainer. A statement that outrages even the ministerial sphere.

A few weeks later, at the end of September, three men, including two former police officers, were taken into custody. They are suspected of having delivered confidential information to PSG. The violation of professional secrecy, influence peddling, or even a possible misuse of the purpose of a data file and a compromise of national defense secrecy and illegal taking of interests would be the main charges.

Rivalries at all levels

PSG scandals know no borders. In the women’s team, the Hamraoui affair testifies to this gloomy atmosphere which reigns in the club of the capital. Nine months ago, player Kheira Hamraoui was assaulted by her ex-teammate Aminata Diallo amid a rivalry. The latter was indicted at the end of September for “criminal association” and “aggravated violence”.

The “penaltygate” also caused a lot of reaction. On August 13, PSG beat Montpellier 5-2 at home. But the victory actually hides the first turmoil. After Kylian Mbappé misses a first penalty, Neymar decides to hit the next one and transforms it. A gesture that is not to the taste of the French international who comes to report it to the Brazilian. A few hours later, Neymar reacted on Twitter to several messages from Internet users claiming that he was taking penalties better than his teammate. The first discomfort arises.

This latest “digital army” affair might be one too many. Despite Paris Saint-Germain’s denial of these revelations, the Blues striker should be confirmed in his choice to leave the club as soon as possible.
