It’s a real earthquake for the world of football, Jürgen Klopp, Liverpool coach since 2015, announces that he will leave the Reds at the end of the season… The news broke late this morning via a video posted by the club’s social media account. The German explains his choice by the fact that he is short of energy. He clarifies that he’s fine, but he knows he can’t do this job over and over again. After nine years on the Liverpool bench, the club legend will leave the banks of the Mersey with a Premier League (2020), a Champions League (2019), the UEFA Super Cup the following season, the Club World Cup (2019), a League Cup and an FA Cup (2022) to his name. The 56-year-old manager could leave one last mark in his history with Liverpool, with the Reds currently leading the Premier League with five points ahead of Manchester City.
