PARIS, May 21 (Reuters) – Kylian Mbappé confirmed on Saturday night that he would stay at football club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and not join Real Madrid.
The 23-year-old striker, world champion with the France team in 2018, has signed a contract with the Parisian club until 2025, said PSG president Nasser al-Khelaïfi.
Several French media had previously reported that Kylian Mbappé had given his agreement in principle to the leaders of PSG to extend his contract which expires in June. (Written by Claude Chendjou, with Bertrand Boucey and Julien Prétot)
