Le Havre are crowned Ligue 2 champions and join the elite of French football for the first time since 2009. The wait was long, after Josue Casimir opened the scoring from the start of the match (11′). The Le Havre supporters waited without a goal until the final whistle, they even invaded the field a few minutes too early and caused another delay by interrupting the game. But the HAC finally won against Dijon (1-0), and are recomposed of a season in which they have been leaders since November 5. In the second the atmosphere is different, Metz celebrated the rise with a victory against Bastia (3-2). But you should never declare victory too quickly, Bordeaux, currently third, saw their match interrupted after a supporter attacked Rodez striker Lucas Buades. The Lorrainers have to wait for the decision of the disciplinary committee concerning this meeting, but they have fulfilled their part of the contract and obviously the trend is approaching a defeat on the green carpet of Bordeaux. Which would mean that FC Metz would join Le Havre in Ligue 1 next season.
