Football: Les Bleuets eliminated by Ukraine in the quarter-finals of the Euro

A total failure. Sunday evening, the France team under 21 lost in the quarter-finals of the Euro against Ukraine and found themselves eliminated from the competition (3-1). In Cluj, Les Bleuets started the game well with a superb goal from Rayan Cherki in the 19th minute, but Georgiy Sudakov allowed his team to take the lead with a double scored before the break. Elye Wahi thought he equalized at the end of the game before seeing his goal denied for an offside position. A few minutes later, Artem Bondarenko drove the point home.
One year before the Olympic Games, Sylvain Ripoll’s men suffer another failure in an international competition.
