Football: ManU beats City and wins the 13th FA Cup in its history

This Saturday, Manchester United won the FA Cup final against Manchester City (2 – 0). Authors of a full performance, the Red Devils completely foiled the plans of Pep Guardiola and his men, totally incapable of creating any concrete chances except Haaland’s bar and Walker’s long-range attempts in the second half . Erik ten Hag’s team was able to make the difference in the last quarter of an hour of the first act through Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo. Jeremy Doku gave the Skyblues hope in a highlight (87′). But it was short-lived against a resilient Mancunian team which thus won the 13th FA Cup in its history and qualified, at the same time, for the next Europa League. Manchester City misses the opportunity to once again mark the history of English football by achieving the cup-championship double for the second year in a row.
