Football: PSG wins the Classic against OM

by Gary Cohen (iDalgo)

Paris Saint-Germain won this Sunday evening against Olympique de Marseille (2-0), for the 27th day of Ligue 1. The Olympians created several chances but were too messy facing the goal. Outnumbered before the break after Beraldo’s red card, PSG opened the scoring, through Vitinha (53rd). 20 minutes after coming into play, Gonçalo Ramos killed all the suspense (85th). Although Jordan Vérétout’s goal was disallowed for an offside position (59th), the Olympians conceded a third defeat in a row and remained seventh in the standings. Paris consolidates its position as leader of the championship and reassures itself 10 days before the quarter-final first leg against FC Barcelona in the Champions League.
