He will no longer be in Paris at the end of the season, Kylian Mbappé announced to his leaders his desire to leave PSG at the end of his contract. An announcement which caused a reaction, particularly in Spain, where all the supporters are convinced to see him land at Real Madrid, his childhood dream.

An announcement that shook the world of football. Thursday evening, Kylian Mbappé formalized his desire to leave Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season. For the moment, the final destination of the 2018 world champion is not yet known, but needless to say that the Frenchman will be very popular in the months to come. In Spain, Real Madrid seem favorites. In any case, it is Kylian Mbappé’s childhood dream to play for Madrid. But concretely, what does the Spanish press say?

75% think Mbappé will join Real Madrid

“The way is clear for Real Madrid”, headlines one of the Spanish newspapers specializing in football. The newspaper El Deportivo obviously headlines the departure of the player from Paris and publishes a survey on its website asking its readers if they think that Kylian Mbappé will come to Real Madrid. And an overwhelming majority (75%) said yes. So, logically, the Spanish press is rubbing its hands, but it remains cautious and still uses the conditional.

Everyone here is waiting for the start of official negotiations, as explained in the report from the Marca channel. “Paris Saint-Germain and the player now know that in June, their paths will separate and everything indicates that the future will pass through Real Madrid. The question is: when will those interested start talking about it?” asks the Spanish sports media.

El Mundo Deportiva goes even further by affirming that club president Florentino Pérez himself would lead the negotiations and that bringing Kylian Mbappé to Madrid remains his priority, like that of the Spanish press this Friday morning.
