The salary ranking of Ligue 1 players has just been published by the newspaper L’Équipe. And unsurprisingly, PSG floods the Top 10. Worse still, the capital club occupies the top ten places. And cocorico, a Frenchman comes first. With 6 million euros gross monthly, the star of the French team Kylian Mbappé is the highest paid player in the French championship.
Behind the new captain of the Blues, follows the Brazilian Neymar with a salary of 3,675,000 euros gross monthly. Argentinian world champion Lionel Messi completes the podium with a gross monthly salary of 3,375,000 euros. However, these salaries do not include the bonuses paid by the clubs. If we exclude PSG from this ranking, it is Ben Yedder, the Monaco striker who comes first with 650,000 euros gross per month. With PSG, the former tricolor occupies 11th place. This is almost 10 times less than what Kylian Mbappé receives. OM player Jordan Veretout ranks 13th with a salary of 550,000 euros gross per month.

The former Losc coach receives a salary of 650,000 euros gross monthly. On the girls’ side, it is also a PSG player who sits at the top of the ranking. The player of the French women’s team Marie-Antoinette Katoto receives 50,000 euros gross each month.
