Footsteps in Warzone will soon be reviewed

The Warzone devs recently confirmed that a fix for audio issues in Battle Royale and in particular footsteps is to be expected.

Audio has long been a major issue for Warzone players. Although incremental changes have been made since launch, it’s still a huge point of contention within the community.

And just days away from the launch of Warzone Pacific Season 2, the developers decided to address a number of aspects of the current state of Battle Royale.

Activision

Having trouble hearing where enemy players are coming from? This should change in Season 3.

And among all the topics put on the table, a player asked in a tweet from CharlieINTELif there was any new information regarding the sound “horrible“, and the response was:

Adjustments for footsteps in Warzone are currently planned for the Season 3 update.

While this answer delighted many players, many others wondered that the fix for “one of the game’s biggest problems won’t be available until season 3“, which means that the fix will not be available until April, when the next season will be launched.

Warzone fans will therefore have to exercise a little more patience before problems related to player movement sounds are history.
