For a good cause – 5000 lots fulfill a long-standing Vespa dream

A Vespa, a wine trip to southern Styria, a weekend on the Hochschober and in the Romantik Spa Hotel Seefischer and a year’s supply of Hirter beer, these are the prizes in the raffle campaign organized by the Hirter private brewery in cooperation with the Jordan wine agency. 5000 lots were sold, including five winning lots. The prizes were officially handed over to the lucky ones on Tuesday.

Under the motto “Wine culture meets the art of brewing”, the 30th anniversary of the Jordan wine agency and the five-year successful cooperation with the Hirt private brewery were celebrated at Burg Glanegg in mid-May. The guests were offered a varied program on the topics of wine and Hirter beer specialities. A highlight of the event was the live raffle for the five prizes. People were amazed at the main prize, which is a brand new, white moped with top equipment. The lucky winner of the two-wheeler is 50-year-old Darja Pototschnig, owner of the cafe-restaurant “Am Eck” on Lake Klopeinersee: “I’m really happy about the prize, I’ve never won anything. And with the Vespa, a big dream has come true, I’ve wanted one since I was 18.” When asked where the first trip is going, Darja replies: “Of course, a lap around the Klopeinersee! A total of 25,000 euros was won by lots, which will benefit Licht ins Dunkel: “The money stays in Carinthia, because the money will support three families who need financial help,” says Nikolaus Riegler, the owner of the Hirter private brewery.
