For a good touchscreen tablet at an affordable price, choose…

Realme is entering the French touch tablet market with its Pad. The smartphone brand is trying it with a model priced at less than €300 and intended for everyday uses, in a carefully designed format.

Realme does not intend to disrupt the touch tablet market with its Pad. This first slate from the Chinese manufacturer offers a very simple service. Its Helio G80 chip nevertheless gives it enough power to browse the web, take advantage of common applications and authorize multimedia uses, especially since its speakers are rather satisfactory on this point. We also appreciate its expandable memory and its certainly minimalist, but neat design, which helps to compensate for a somewhat high charging time and a screen that lacks a little contrast.

Strong points

  • Careful design.
  • Expandable memory.
  • Satisfactory multitasking performance.

Weak points

  • Poorly controlled color temperature and low contrast.
  • Not very suitable for gaming.
  • Slow charging.
