For Christmas, Google is offering an Easter Egg in the form of gifts and games, will you be able to find it?

Google has hidden a little secret in its search engine to prepare for the arrival of Christmas. We promise you that it is not very difficult to discover, and that it is full of surprises.

For 25 years now, Google has been multiplying animations, small games and homages in the form of “easter eggs”, or little hidden secrets, to amuse its many users all over the world. The imminent Christmas of 2023 (your Advent calendar should in theory melt before your eyes) is no exception to the rule, with a new secret that will open the doors to a magical world.

If you type “ Christmas » (or Christmas) in your address bar (the area where the URL is located) or the search area (the small box where the small magnifying glass is located, under the Google logo), you will have a little surprise. We’re not showing you the image, so you can experience it yourself.

At the top left of your computer, or on the right of your screen on mobile, the simple validation of this festive request should lead to the appearance of a small red gift garnished with a red bow. This is all well and good, but does it stop there?

Well no ! By clicking on the little gift, a hot air balloon piloted by Santa Claus himself will cover your screen, sending you directly onto Santa’s trail.

Once you arrive on the Santa Tracker page, where you can follow Santa’s journey in real time around the world on December 24 and 25, you can do a multitude of things, starting with the Gift Launcher, the one of the many mini-games offered by Google this year.

Several games will be fun for you alone or as a family, to pass the time and nourish you a little more with the magic of the end-of-year holidays. You can also be tempted by a little geographical quiz, and use the Christmas special Google Translate.
