Canadian superstar Drake, 36, has had to break some unpleasant news to his millions of fans around the world. Like him loudly the US website “People” revealed on Friday (October 6th) in the radio format “Table For One”, he will have to take a break for the time being. He cites health problems as the reason, but immediately reassures: “It’s nothing serious. But I want people to go through life healthy. I’ve had the strangest problems with my stomach for several years.”

Only when he has gotten the problem under control does he want to devote himself to music again. He therefore cannot say exactly how long he plans to retire from show business. “I’m going to lock the studio door for a while. I don’t even know what ‘a while’ means. Maybe a year or so, maybe a little longer.”

When looking at the official homepage of the artist It’s noticeable: When it comes to the dates of his current “It’s All A Blur” tour, the only date left is next Saturday (October 7th) in Toronto. For five other dates, all in the USA, only “TBD” (“to be determined”) is written.

His new record just came out

A blessing in disguise for all Drake fans: Drake has just released “For All The Dogs”, his eighth studio album. For now, his fans can console themselves about the bad news with brand new songs. It is guaranteed that the new long player will once again be a huge success.

In September 2018, Drake broke an ancient Beatles record: all 25 tracks from his album “Scorpion” were in the Billboard 100 charts, seven of them in the top ten. His previous work “Honestly, Nevermind” was only released last year and achieved Drake’s best placement in the charts to date in Germany, third place.
