Season 20 of "For Heaven's Sake" will also be the last. It is now clear from when it will be broadcast on the first.

It has been known since the end of 2020: The 20th season of the ARD series "Um Himmels Willen" will also be the last. Now the broadcaster has announced when the fans can see the hustle and bustle in and around Kaltenthal monastery for the last time. The final 13 episodes start on March 30th and will always be shown on Tuesday at 8:15 p.m. on Das Erste. With Fritz Wepper (79) as mayor Wöller and Janina Hartwig (59) as sister Hanna, of course.

As a reason for the end of the series, Jana Brandt, Executive Producer and head of the joint editorial team for series in the main evening program, said in November 2020: "We are firmly convinced that you should stop when it is most beautiful. After 20 years with 260 episodes' Um Heaven's sake, it's time for something new. " On January 8, 2002, the series premiered in Das Erste.
