The series stars Nicholas Pinnock, Indira Varma, Joy Bryant and Tyla Harris.
The series is based on the true story of the innocent imprisoned Isaac Wright Jr. Rapper 50 Cent was involved in the production.
In March 2022, Netflix will once again expand its range with a number of titles. An exciting new series is waiting for you today: The drama series “For Life”. You can look forward to both seasons of the series about a nightclub owner who is suddenly framed for a crime. Because his lawyer fails, he quickly takes care of his own release.
The main character Aaron Wallace (“Marcella” actor Nicholas Pinnock) leads a life as a club owner and is happily married to Marie (“Parenthood” star Joy Bryant). The couple have one daughter, Jasmine (Tyla Harris), and lead normal lives. One day Aaron is torn out of it. The police arrest him and accuse him of a crime he did not commit.
Aaron spends several years in prison because his lawyer fails in court. He cannot be satisfied with his situation and is training to become a lawyer. He receives support from the guard Safiya Masry (“Game of Thrones” star Indira Varma). As a lawyer, he is able to free several of his fellow inmates and also challenges his own sentence in court. Will he be acquitted after nine long years?
