For Marine Le Pen, large retailers “tighten the kiki” of farmers
This Monday, Marine Le Pen found herself on the TF1 set facing Anne-Claire Coudray and Gilles Bouleau to present her program, but also her vision of the France of tomorrow. During the interview, the candidate used a somewhat dated expression which did not fail to amuse the Web.
Less than a month before the first round of the presidential election, the candidates are more than ever determined to win the opinion of the French people. On TF1, this Monday, March 14, eight of them found themselves facing Anne-Claire Coudray and Gilles Bouleau to discuss their proposals. During her visit, Marine Le Pen notably mentioned the consumption of the French, insisting on the importance of local products and transparency in their manufacture. “When my children were younger and I gave them food, I was very happy to know that it was French products“, dropped the candidate before adding, using a colloquial and somewhat dated expression : “Let’s trust our farmers, let’s also give them decent incomes. It’s a debate to have with the large distribution which sometimes tends to squeeze their penises, you have to be honest.“If some immediately understood that Marine Le Pen meant by that:”tighten the neck“, others were more surprised by this expression, judging by the reactions on the Web.
