This new project – his first since 2014! – marks her reunion with Jamie Foxx, actor with whom she already shared the poster in the remake of the musical Annie, who signed her last appearance on the screen.
Entitled Back In Action, the film is directed by Seth Gordon, the director of How to Kill Your Boss? and written by Brendan O’Brien, screenwriter of Our Worst Neighbors. For the moment, no information reveals the plot of this feature film presented as an action comedy. The project should allow Cameron Diaz to regain his communicative energy and his comic genius, two criteria that have made his popularity.
On social media, Jamie Foxx broke the news through a recorded phone conversation. To encourage the actress to return, a guest joins them: Tom Brady, American football star, who made his return to the NFL only six weeks after announcing his retirement.
